I don’t have a lot of experience with M. Robinson. The first book I read from her was Crave Me last year. That book emotionally devastated me. She is a gifted writer, and has the ability to wring any emotion she would like out of you. After reading that book, I wanted to read the rest of The Good Ol’ Boys series but couldn’t make myself hop on the emotional roller coaster that I knew would come.
I decided to try her out again with this duet. I’m glad I did. After reading this, I think I’m ready to tackle the rest of her books. There are many characters in her books and it seems most of them get their “own” book. You don’t need to have read any of her other books to enjoy this one, but you might feel like you are missing a bit of something.
There is a definite cliffhanger at the end of this book. It isn’t one where you will feel like you can live without knowing what happens. I finished Road to Nowhere at 2AM and immediately dove into Ends Here. I was finally able to put the book down 2 hours later. Yes, I needed a nap the next day.
I received an advance review copy of this book that I have chosen to review.
