$0.99 BOOK SALE! Passenger by Alexandra Bracken

This is another one I haven’t read yet, butΒ  I’ve been told this time travel romance has an African American love interest for those of you looking for diverse books.

Reviewers with similar taste as me have been all over the place with this one. Usually everyone rates pretty much the same, but there are just as many 1 star ratings as 5 star ratings, and even a 3 thrown in there for good measure.

It is on sale for $0.99 right now, so if this is one you’re interested in I would go grab a copy.

  1. Glad you are sharing deals! I do that, too! We gotta save when we can, right?
I grabbed this last time it went on sale…but I think it was $1.99 that time. Go figure!
Did you see some of the other ones? It was yesterday, but they also had Reign of Shadows, Burning Glass, Seven Black Diamonds…and some other good ones! (I only remember the ones I bought). Oh, The Jewel too! (Lots of gem titles…wonder if it was a theme? πŸ€”πŸ’ πŸ’Ž)

    1. Lol I see your theme there. I have spent way too much money on books since I got a Kindle and now have a miles long backlog of books I need to read.
I’m trying to be more discerning about what books I’m picking up. And more realistic about how much time I have to read… but so many books sound too good to pass up.
Definitely keep posting the deals you see, I need to stop paying full price for books I don’t plan to read immediately.

I didn’t see that sale, so I’m going to go check out those titles you mentioned. They sound like fantasies, and I LOVE a good fantasy.

      1. That’s okay! I’ve only done a handful myself. So you both agree on an amount to read each day and you just have someone to talk about the book with. It can be interesting because sometimes you hate the book but the other doesn’t and it just points things out that maybe you wouldn’t have caught on your own. Plus you get to know the other person. I’ve met some of my good friends through buddy reads. But if it’s not your thing I totally get that πŸ™‚

      2. Hi! Sorry it’s taken me awhile to get back to you one this. I was actually pretty excited about trying to do my first buddy read, but life happened….
Unfortunately I’m going to have to skip this one.πŸ™ I just posted about it, but in a couple of months I’m hoping to have more time again. I’m sure you’ll have Passenger done by then but maybe we can do a buddy read with a different book. I have such a long TBR I’m sure we’ll have something in common we both want to read. ❀❀❀
